There are some attractions/rides at Walt Disney World resort that I don’t care about that much and once I’ve done them, I’m happy with only having done them that one time. Here’s post #1 featuring one of my One and Done worthy rides at Disney World.
Alien Swirling Saucers at Toy Story Land (Disney’s Hollywood Studios)
When Toy Story Land was set to open in Hollywood Studios, I was super excited! Not because I’m a super Toy Story fan (I like the movies but I’m not overly into them or anything), but because of the new area and the new attractions! I’ve loved Toy Story Mania since the very first time that I rode it and even though I thought Slinky Dog Dash was going to be more along the lines of the experience I had with Goofy’s Barnstormer in Magic Kingdom, I love Slinky Dog Dash too!
My sons and I visited Toy Story Land together in early 2019 and they weren’t that thrilled when I said I wanted to go ahead and ride Alien Swirling Saucers. I didn’t make them ride it but they went ahead and stood in line with me and rode it because I explained that I basically only wanted to ride it to see how it is and check it off as having done it.

I won’t lie, I found the queue to be cute and the theme is great. Definitely anyone who loves Buzz Lightyear and the Little Green Men aliens will enjoy this one. But the ride itself was just ok for me. I can admit it was fun, albeit short. I was in the ride car by myself and the turning/spinning motion that happens made me slide back and forth across the seat so I was laughing most of the ride.

However, it’s just not worth it to me to wait in line for this ride. If the line is super short, I might ride it again in the future, but for the most part, I’m adding Alien Swirling Saucers to my One and Done list. °O°
