I got back from my March Disney World trip on Saturday and it took me a few days to recover and get some things caught up at home, but now, here I am with the first part of my trip report for this visit!
For this trip, I went with my cousin Sasha and her wife Chastity. We flew out on Sunday March 21st, and after some small flight delays, we arrived at our home for the week, which was a one bedroom value villa at Animal Kingdom Villas Jambo House. For this value one bedroom through Disney Vacation Club, you’re not able to request a savanna view (I guess you can request it but it’s luck of the draw whether you get it). We ended up with room 5129 which had a parking lot view. It would have been nice to have a pool or savanna view, but it was still nice to be at Jambo House either way!
We rented a car from the airport for this trip and had already stopped at a store to buy some groceries and other items for the week, and after we checked into the resort, we walked around Jambo House a bit and went to the savanna area to see some of the animals.
A few more from the lobby area:
We originally planned to go walk around Disney Springs or something with this non-park first day, but we ended up just hanging out in the room and relaxing. I didn’t get a full room tour because I didn’t want to take pictures of video once my cousin unpacked in the bedroom, but here’s a few pictures of the rest of the room.
Part 2 coming up in my next post! Our day at Hollywood Studios! °O°
Wait…they put a sleeper chair in a “Value” 1 bedroom villa? You might have been “upgraded” to a “Standard” one bedroom, which would explain the view.
No, it wasn’t a sleeper chair. Just a regular chair. It was definitely a value. I could tell how it was smaller than the other 1 bedrooms I’ve seen.
It looks exactly like the sleeper chairs. Huh! Interesting…
