If you’re a Disney fanatic, you already know that today marks the last day that Snow White’s Scary Adventures will be open in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom park. Was this my favorite ride? No, but Snow White is my favorite Disney character and this was HER ride! When my sister’s family went with us to Disney World in May/June 2011, I made everyone go on Snow White’s Scary Adventures (for some, against their will- hee hee!). I’m so glad my nieces and nephew got to go on this ride at that time! Bye-bye Snow White ride… 😦
Hopefully the new Seven Dwarfs Mine Train that will open in the Fantasyland expansion will be fun! Check out the video Disney Parks posted on YouTube showing the ride concept HERE.
On the bright side, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort opened today! I’ve been checking out all of the Twitter chatter about it and I’m waiting to see more posts about it from bloggers who are there right now. I missed the Lou Mongello live tour from Art of Animation this morning, but I think J.L. Knopp (The Disney Driven Life) is doing a review on her stay, so I will look for that later. I can’t wait until I’m able to stay at AoA! The more I learn about it, the more excited I get! Did you know that underwater in the Finding Nemo pool, you can hear Nemo, Dory and other Finding Nemo characters talking? How cool is that! Yep, there’s a video on YouTube about that too! Check it out HERE.
Ok, time for me to get back to Twitter for a bit longer! Join me at anytime- my Twitter name is @zianha
See Ya Real Soon!
I was so sad when they finally announced that they had torn down Snow White’s Scary Adventures! It was one of the first rides that I experienced as a children and it was sad to see one of my childhood memories disappear. However, I hope that the new Fantasyland will be just as great! Thanks for posting 🙂
