My schedule and my shoddy internet connection has been quite unkind to me the past several days. (Thanks for nothing AT&T internet) But never fear, my Disney obsession has been working overtime! First of all, I started researching the Bahamas trip my sister would like me to take with her family in 2013. All I can say is, I THINK NOT! I played around with some different deals and a 3 or 4 night trip will pretty much cost me the same as at least 5 days at Disney World. Expand my horizons, you say? Try something new?

Pffft! Quit with your crazy talk! Sure, it looks beautiful, but I’m not a huge fan of going to the beach and I might (and I emphasize MIGHT) get ankle deep in ocean water. I’m not big on spa days and quite frankly I think I’d get bored quick. Besides, I can swim at the WDW resort pool, and there are spas on Disney property too. There’s just way more that I want to do at Disney World. There’s plenty of shopping at Disney and in Orlando, so the Bahamas just isn’t looking that appealing to me. Maybe it’s because I’m single….but let’s face it, I’m looking for a Disney World loving man anyway! I’m more likely to go to Aulani than the Bahamas.

In other news, I’ve been looking at pictures of Disney’s new Art of Animation resort. The family suites are so cute! I have absolutely no need for a suite with just me and my 2 kids but I really want to stay in one of those suites! The standard rooms are The Little Mermaid themed so they are cute too but I want to stay in a Cars or The Lion King suite! Maybe I can take my nieces and nephew next year or so and we can stay in a suite then! My dreams are bigger than my wallet… hee hee!

Finally, I’m conflicted because I really want to stick to my plan for a December Walt Disney World trip this year, but now I’m considering saving that money to either do the Art of Animation suite in 2013 or stay for 2 full weeks instead of just one week. Ugh, if I had my way I’d win the lottery or something wonderful and just up and go to WDW any time my heart desires!
